This is a retreat for those wishing to press pause and take some time out to restore and reconnect. We will gather as a small group for this intimate weekend exploring and connecting to our natural surroundings and experiencing deeply nourishing rest practices for the body, mind & soul.
Yoga Nidra, sound healing & ceremony will provide the foundation for our time together as we slow down, remember our natural rhythm and enjoy this special land; perfectly nestled between forest and sea.
Everything on the retreat is an invitation and you can take part in as little or as much you would like. The program is spacious so there is ample time to explore the forest & heathland, venture a little further out to the beach (10 min drive) or simply rest at our beautiful retreat home. This peaceful space will allow you to unwind from the daily grind and and leave feeling rested, connected and renewed.

About our venue.
Our hosts Annabel & Angus have created this beautiful sanctuary in their home that has been in the family for 80 years. Annabel’s family moved here from India in the 1930s. Whilst much of the house has since been modernised, many of the original features remain and there is a hint of yesteryear about the whole place. Artist Annabel has created comfortable and elegant rooms. Referring to a pre-war family connection to India: the birthplace of yoga, the bedrooms carry the names of historical Indian locations.

Location
Forest: Our retreat home is based in Sway, in the heart of the New Forest National Park. Wandering the heathland or exploring the forest is easily accessible and we will be making the most of this opportunity to be amongst nature on this retreat.
Sea: For those who would like to explore a little further, the sea is only a ten minute drive away. The local beach is quintessentially English, complete with brightly painted beach huts and a stunning view of the Isle of Wight. The perfect place for a cold water swim : )
Getting There
The train station in Sway is a 6 minute drive from the house and there will be a co ordinated lift to the retreat on the Friday and a drop off at the station on Sunday for those arriving/leaving at a specific time. I will let you know the best train to catch to benefit from this service.
